Hello Kitty Baby Shower Cake

I had sooo much fun decorating this cake.  All the little detail was time consuming but well worth it!  I got my inspiration for this cake of a Hello Kitty Crib set.  I thought it was so cute and different from the usual pink and red colors.

Princess Cake and Under the sea Cupcakes/Cake pops

This 3 tier princess cake was made for a very special princess name Lily.

Under the Sea cupcakes.  I decorated the cupcakes with blue sprinkles, white pearls, corals and seaweed made of royal icing and sea shells made of chocolate.
Cake pops turned out pretty cute! I added chocolate seashells on top and decorated the sides with corals, seaweeds and fishes.

Cupcake Camp OC Results

What can I say....yesterday was a very hectic day! I had made seven flavors of cupcakes: Chocolate Heaven, Chocolate Dipped Strawberry, Mimosa, Lavender, Latiya, Coconut Key Lime and Red Ruby.

Unfortunately I arrived late because I was short handed by one person but was able to pull through.  Thanks to mom and Steve!
When we got to the Atrium hotel there was a huge line outside.  The hotel was just packed with lots of people waiting to get their fill of cupcakes :)  I was seriously stressing out because not only was I late.  I was overwhelmed with the crowd and did not know where to go.  Thank god for the volunteers they guided us to our table.  They were all so nice and helpful.

So...we finally got to our table and I seriously just threw the cake stands and  started loading the cake stands with cupcakes (mind you we did not have that much space behind the table to maneuver around) and people were coming like crazy.  Mom and Steve were really patient with me and was able to handle the pressure. I was disappointed I did not set up my table like I wanted, but overall it was a great experience and I am glad to be part of it.  I would do it again!

Check out the crowd!
Mom is pulling cupcakes to refill while I hand out cupcakes.
My turn!
All 200 cupcakes gone!

Steve was abe to capture this picture towards the end.
