Cupcake Camp LA Results

I know its been a week since the Cupcake Camp LA.  I have been so busy.  I finally have time to share my day in Hollywood.  The Music Box Theater is just FAB! The whole event was well planned and organized.  Thanks to Babbette and her team.  They plan to have another Cupcake Camp summer of 2011 :).  My kids and I had a great time.  I got to meet lots of great people and bakers.

My brother Jeff build this cupcake stand for me :).  Pretty cool! The top is Red velvet with cream cheese frosting topped with chocolate decor, middle is pumpkin with cream cheese frosting topped with a pecan and drizzled with caramel and bottom is chocolate with chocolate frosting topped with chocolate sprinkles and a fondant decor that Julien and I hand painted.

This is a cake stand where each baker puts a cupcake of theirs.

There were bakers on the first, second and third floor.  I think there were a total of 56 bakers that day.

Got the pleasure of meeting Babette and her mother.  Awesome people!

City Building Cupcake Stand

Isn't this cake stand Awesome! I asked my brother Jeff to build me a cake stand for the Cupcake Camp LA and this is it!!!  It turned out really nice.  Great job bro!  I will have his contact info on my website on the preferred vendors.  I will ask him to build more custom cupcake stands :)

11 Days Until Cupcake Camp LA

With still lots to do to prepare for this event...I am feeling a little anxious and nervous:{  The days are just flying by like crazy!! I cannot believe Thanksgiving is just around the corner and 11 days until the cupcake camp.  If you haven't been to one, you should stop by and check it out! or at least check out the website.  Cupcake Camp LA is being produced by Babette Pepj founder of BakeSpace.com .  It is being held at a the Music Box Theater in Hollywood. There will be lots of activities for kids such as cupcake tasting, face painting, they will have a bake space area for the kids to decorate cupcakes and a cupcake land photo area.  They are still in need of more bakers.  So, if you love to bake sign up! :)

Cupcake Camp LA

OMG! So, I just found out that Cupcake Camp will be in LA on November 20th at the Music Box Theater - Hollywood.  I am looking forward to be part of Cupcake camp again.  Sharing my love of baking to raise money for a good cause...I'll be there!! ;)
